New Opportunities and Hope

Part of the mission of New Hope Ministries is to see that these children have a hope and a future. We have found that the best way to care for the spiritual, physical, and social needs of these children is through their attendance at a student center. There, children in need are able to receive schooling, medical care and training, daily meals, school supplies and uniforms, a safe and loving environment to grow and develop, and a chance to learn about Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Children in Need

In the poor villages and slums of India, the people who live there are suffering; and wherever there is poverty, children suffer the most. These children lack a number of things, including food, proper healthcare, education, and a loving and safe environment in which to grow. The parents of these children experience a deep frustration from not being able to support their families and sometimes, in their despair, turn to alcohol and/or become abusive toward their own children. If they are not given opportunities like other children to learn and develop their skills, they will be forced into menial labor as adults and will not have enough to provide for their families. Due to their lack of education, these children are trapped in a cycle of poverty that may never end.

You provide all of these benefits and opportunities for these impoverished children by becoming a sponsor for a child in India for $30 a month. That's less than a dollar a day-less than a cup of coffee or a soda in our country. But for these children in India, it means opportunities that they may never have received if not for your love and sponsorship. You also have a chance to develop a relationship with your sponsored child through your letters and prayers. The children love to receive letters and pictures from their sponsors, and they excitedly write back to you as their sponsor.
